Dopo l’INNOV8, ecco un altro cellulare della Samsung con fotocamera da 8 megapixel. Si chiama M8800 Bresson (come il fotografo francese Henri Cartier-Bresson) e per adesso non sono disponibili foto. Notizie su questo cellulare erano già disponibili a giugno…

Adesso si è tornati a parlare di questo cellulare perchè è comparso sul sito di Phones4u (e poi subito scomparso) con altri dettagli e la data di disponibilità prevista per metà ottobre. Vi riporto di seguito le caratteristiche attualmente disponibili:

• fotocamera da 8 megapixel (forse simile a quella dell’INNOV8)
• schermo touchscreen da 3.2″, 16 milioni di colori e qualità full HDTV
• quad-band GSM e tri-band HSDPA
• GPS
• 15.5mm di spessore
• Google Search & Maps, Accu Weather, CNN News & Sport.

Con queste caratteristiche diventa il concorrente diretto dell’LG K910, anch’esso touchscreen con fotocamera da 8 megapixel. Se la disponibilità è prevista per ottobre, probabilmente a breve ci sarà l’annuncio della Samsung. Vi terremo aggiornati.

The actual market name for the Samsung Bresson M8800 is still to be confirmed, due to the low profile surrounding the expected explosive launch. The M8800 is the product code, whilst the Bresson project title is rumoured to be associated with Henri Cartier-Bresson, a French photographer considered the father of modern photojournalism. Which given the handsets purpose and appeal, is very fitting. What do we know about the Samsung M8800 though, apart from I have one and won’t be giving it back, ever. Personally I’m a big fan of camera phones, especially given the convenience factor, but I often take a blurred photo when friends move any faster than a sloff. So imagine my huge pleasure when presented with an 8-mega-pixel camera phone with every camera function under the sun, whilst being more compact then a Nokia N96. To prove this point, the Samsung Bresson is 15.5mm thick, whilst a Nokia N96 is 18mm, a Sony C905 18.5mm, and finally a Samsung Innov8 is 17.2mm. The touch screen accelerator interface is effortless and responsive, which is a far cry from many handsets on the market. Whilst the 3.2 inch 16 million pixel colour display shows excellent photos, it also supports and runs full HD TV viewing. So regardless of your entertainment demands, the Samsung Bresson M8800 is capable of occupying any preferences with the highest of competences. Films, pictures, games, and music are masterly delivered through a collection of new hardware and software advancements to the Samsung range. Additional ‘extras’ to this touch screen marvel include new improved office interaction applications, GPS mapping, serious music capabilities, Instant Messaging, and high speed downloads. Ultimately, this new flagship handset demonstrates a new dominance of the touch screen market for Samsung, whilst delivering camera capabilities far beyond anything they have previously brought to market.
